At Smart Money People, we use the power of your reviews to help change financial services for the better. We understand that it's very frustrating, and often expensive for you when things go wrong. When dealing with the over 50s market, companies like Saga should take extra care with their customer service. So if you're had a problem with insurance policy and things don't go quite to plan, or you're unhappy with something, sometimes you have to escalate your dissatisfaction with a company. That's why we want to improve the way that companies deal with complaints from customers.

SAGA immoral

Tri ed to sell me a policy at £1078pa Queried this and told " it's coretect" A few weeks later quoted £361pa " Market fluctuations " Bloody robbers!!

Saga is complete RUBBISH

I find that Saga will tell you anything to get a sale but are more than usless when if you need to make a claim. A terrible service.

Terrible absolute disgrace

You think you are getting your product from SAGA you are not!! They use contractors and subcontractors Axa-Bvs- Lloyd's and you have to jump through hoops to get things resolved!!! They text message you and phone but you cant then phone back as well... Read more

You think you are getting your product from SAGA you are not!! They use contractors and subcontractors Axa-Bvs- Lloyd's and you have to jump through hoops to get things resolved!!! They text message you and phone but you cant then phone back as well as they dont reply in writing plus I have been given different information on both phone calls absolute nightmare!!! My situation is still not resolved. They were quick to offer a cash settlement on first visit, now however, after me doing all the running around as I was advised that I had to source the solution!... On top of that they requested headed paper and dont seem happy with email communication?? Very strange you Saga_lloyds text message and phone.
SAGA you are hiding behind other companies and this is misleading for your loyal customers whom relate to your brand.

Recently had to make a claim
After actually getting through to a agent
I then had to speak to another company
Who are even worse at customer services
It took 6 days to eventually have my iPad collected now have to wait up to 5 more days to see if repairable. Or to be renewed.

Whatever you do think twice about this insurance company. My Mum and Dad's car insurance is renewed every year. They signed up with Saga as the deal looked very good, but they realised that they could get a better deal with Dial Direct - £200 cheaper. Initially the policy was in my Mum's name, normally it is my Dad, but because she drives the car more, she decided to have it in her name, but was then told that because it had been in his name for a few years with her as an additional driver, her no claims bonus had expired, so it would have to be in his name to claim that, so it was switched over to his, but four years ago he got a speeding ticket and three points on his licence, which after three years can be taken off, and not affect your insurance - but they said that because it wasn't five years ago, it would cost an extra £200.00. So the policy was then cancelled and altogether they were charged approx £60.00 even though they decided not to take out the policy and cancelled it within the 14 day cooling off period. Think twice before using this company, they are a total rip off.

Don't you believe it. Incomplete repairs, quibbling over rectification of incomplete repairs, multiple phone calls to people trained in the art of obfuscation and sloping shoulders. I've been with Saga for years, never had a claim and now I'm being treated like the dirt on their shoes.
An absolutely appalling company - all shiny at the front but awol when it comes to fulfilling their obligations.
