At Smart Money People, we've been using the power of reviews from consumers like you since 2014 to help change and improve financial services. It can be extremely frustrating, and often expensive when things go wrong as a Santander customer - whether it's about your main bank account, savings, mortgages, or any other Santander financial product, you want resolution, and quickly. If they've disappointed you, sometimes it feels like the only way to move forward is to escalate your dissatisfaction with a company in the form of a complaint. That's why we want to improve the way that companies deal with complaints from customers.

How do I make a TSB complaint?

A sham of a bank. I'm closing my business bank account after experiencing first hand how awful they are. The customer service is rude, incompetent and appalling. I made an online bank transfer once and the money just 'disappeared into the ether' and they couldn't even trace what happened to it! What a joke hey? You'd think they were only using pen and paper, and mailing pigeons for their banking operations. And then out of the blue they tell me they are closing my account, for no reason, and rudely order me to return any cheque books and credit cards. My business account has always been healthily in credit too. I'm not going to waste my time, effort and state of mind on suing this bank for all the trouble it has caused me. How on earth is this bank allowed to operate; why hasn't the UK's banking regulator shut this bank down that's what I want to know?

With IT Systems as good as a chocolate fireguard and customer service that can do nothing besides say "We're sorry but we can't find your complaint" even though a confirmation email was received - everything in general is just a shambles. Take a look at any popular Fintech banks like Monzo, you won't regret it.

Stay away from tsb

Had an account and internet banking for one day. They could not tell why the account had closed down as no product passed a credit check to open the account given a sort code and account number then nothing. Bank manager clueless to help contact...

Had an account and internet banking for one day. They could not tell why the account had closed down as no product passed a credit check to open the account given a sort code and account number then nothing. Bank manager clueless to help contact centre state you need to go to the branch. After a load of crap on the phone and the branch I can truthfully say not to trust or use this bank in anyway. They are worse than useless and I am still missing money transferred to them from my old bank that is now my current bank after transferring to this lot of ejits, staff at branches and call centres are being made ejits by bosses unable to properly manage a bank. The best thing for this lot is to go bust and start again. DO NOT USE and if you do RUN AWAY FAST the harm that they have done myself and my business is unbelievable.

Terrible customer service!!!! Customer service will respond to your complaint in 8 weeks! Debit card cancelled due to fraud on account, after 2.5 weeks of waiting for new card, I phone to find out that the replacement card had not been ordered....get passed from dept to dept all who say it is not their responsibility and they cannot assist... after 2 hrs 40 minutes on the phone I get told it will be another 10 days before a new card will arrive.. but don't worry as you can go into the branch with your passport for funds! Easier to cancel account and transfer funds to another bank.... 28 years with this bank and did they care about losing my customer.. of course they didn't.
