Bank account, app and website which works

Terrible service. Online bank so only telephone contact. Takes ages to get through...always very busy apparently. You are passed on to someone else...lots of waiting and ghastly music. They cannot deal with query so passed on again. Long wait..we are very busy!!.. and more ghastly music. Eventually third person cannot give direct help so answer will be sent by second class post. WE have tried 5 times to get Power of Attorney and are now on 5 the activation code to be told there has been a problem First Direct end because someone forgot to update all the details. Great account to switch to

I switched to First Direct from HSBC and got a switching bonus, but also access to their savings account with 7% interest. I did have an issue shortly after the account was set up but customer service got back to me really quickly and sorted it out. Reviewed on: 2nd January 2024
