Good bank account Have been using Hyperjar for many years for my granddaughter. It's great. Only thing is she can't get cash from ATMs. Reviewed on: 21st May 2026

For my junior chancellor

My little one loves the fact that he has his own bank account, a card and an app. He loves to pay with his card and keep a check on his spend with the app. As a parent I love the fact that it's all free! Reviewed on: 13th January 2023

Easy, free and totally usable.

My son is 10 and I can manage his pocket money and spending on a simple to use app. He feels independent while out and about being able to pay for things himself with a quick tap of his card. Reviewed on: 8th March 2023

great free app and easy to use

Hyperjar is one of my favourite finance apps, it’s so easy to keep track of your kids card transactions, the details/pin of the card itself and lets you manage it with ease. The app is very straightforward to use and I enjoy being able to swap money around in the ‘jars’. The fact you get such a great service for free is fantastic! Reviewed on: 8th March 2023

Great & free

Works so well for children managing their money, I transfer bday/xmas money in or use to pay him money for chores. I like that we can both have the app. Sometimes I've paid for things and transferred money from him to me, sometimes we've used his card. The best kids card

A great alternative to the Victorian banks

This app is superb. I can teach my 12-year old about money. He can manage it himself and I can keep an eye on it. And he gets his own debit card - couldn't get that from a traditional bank at his age. Reviewed on: 8th March 2023

Very educational tool!

I use the app to educate my boys that money does not come from nowhere and pay them small amounts of money for easy chores we make up for them to make them realise it takes effort to earn for the goods they want to buy. It’s very intuitive to use for parents and children. One of my favourite apps! Reviewed on: 8th March 2023
