Best Service and Provider of Specialist Mortgages

Personalised service

We applied for a Holiday Let Mortgage 3 years ago. There are very few providers. I was impressed then by the personal feel of the service I got and the fact that i didn't need to be passed around to anonymous teams for a decision in principle and got follow up from the same contact (Adviser) all the way through. Last year I had a complaint regarding timing of a renewal notice and it was handled well and very fairly. No issues. Good competitive rates

Easy to renew. Good prices. Fully informed with plenty of notice when it's time for renewal. Only thing I can say that needs improvement is the ease of use of the online accounts. Reviewed on: 12th November 2019

Great customer service and locally focused company

We took a mortgage out with the Monmouthshire 7 years ago. We would not hesitate to recommend them as we have always found them to be friendly, helpful, efficient and very straightfoward to deal with. We later had to remortgage when we needed to rennovate the same property, and their mortgage adviser was great - we felt listened to, and they were able to help us. We've had a much better experience with them than the bigger companies (no hidden charges etc). One thing to note - our independent mortgage broker initially overlooked them as they didn't realise we were in their 'catchment' area - so worth asking for them if you live in the Forest of Dean/Monmouthshire area.
