Great - not my favourite bank, but my favourite travel companion.

Revolut is really great, and so is their customer support. I'm an expat, having moved from Germany to UK, commuting the first three months, and I don't know how I would have done it without Revolut. If you need to manage money in more than one currency, Revolut is clearly the best. Only drawback is that transactions sometimes take relatively long (compared to UK standards), as well as customer support availability. They also promise a lot of huge features, but rarely deliver in time. They recently gained Eestonian bank license but that didn't have any real consequences, yet. So as my title says, Revolut is not my favourite bank, but my favourite travel companion. Reviewed on: 25th January 2019

Finally a transparent, flexible and easy to use Insurance!

Finding and managing insurances is a pain, the customer experience and service are usually even worse, and so many of them still require lots of paperwork and multiple phone calls for the most simple things, which is ridiculous. Say Hi to Wrisk! In a great app, you quickly provide the necessary informations and Wrisk tells you how that impacts your risk score and why - which is usually a well kept secret with other insurances. The prices are very good, and what's best, you can cancel monthly! All of this within the app. Their customer service is amazing as well. What else could you wish for. I hope for further insurance products, soon, and wouldn't hesitate to move all my insurances to Wrisk. (Their next offer will probably be a revolutionary car insurance!) Best app to keep track of all your accounts and spendings

Emma is an amazing app, with a great user experience and overview of all your current and savings accounts, credit cards and investments (currently only crypto wallets and robo-advisors) and their respective transactions. Aside the overview it also offers really useful statistics and reports, including subscriptions and paydays. I strongly recommend the app. Especially if you're the kind of person that's able to watch and manage your money alone, or simply dislike chatbots, without a "smart assistant" like Cleo etc. this app should be your choice. But also I have to say that I don't think the paid subscription is worth the money, yet. Especially because manual accounts currently can be set to their current amount, no transcations or anything. On a great way!

Freetrade is amazing, they have a great app and an amazing customer support. End of day deals are free, instant deals are 1£ fix. Features are coming fast, recently they started ISAs! Access is not fully public yet, and currently equities are limited to a very well picked selection of UK stocks and ETFs, but it’s growing regularly and first US equities will probably be available early January. The charts and information are very basic, yet, but are improved regularly. As soon as all my stock needs are there I don’t see any reason to not fully switch to Freetrade!
