After spending years with a high street bank I was getting fed up with my balance not reflecting what I had to spend and the service in the bank was poor too. Having looked at Monzo and seen that as soon as you spend the money is considered spent (even though it may not leave the bank for a few days) and it's not available to spend. To add to that the budgeting and ease of everything is a breath of fresh air to the banking industry. The community forum is great to give feedback and Monzo actually listen to their customers to constantly improve the user experience. Monzo are showing that banking is changing and feel the will soon be leaving other banks behind them.
