You don’t need to be loaded to save with HL. Setting up a regular savings payment from £25 is really easy and so many funds to invest in. The app is great for keeping track of your money but doesn’t have all the fratures if the invaluable website.

Day to say banking with first direct is great, the app and website are easy to use, staff on the phones are well trained. Unlike many of the new challenger banks, first direct offer a full range of products. They might have some catching up to do on the digital side, but they keep launching new updates, when it comes to service the others are nowhere near.

Monzo, the game changer of banking. Although, they’re just as rigid as the “legacy” banks they like to complain about, and more so in some aspects. Great app, ok support.
