As the first on line only bank, First Direct is remarkably boring and looks and feels like a traditional bricks and mortar bank. Limited functionality, poor, poor app experience, nonsense and overly complex 'security' processes...moving to Starling Bank.

Bank of Scotland has not been the same since it's disastrous tie up with the Halifax. Maybe one day it will again be a bank Scotland can be proud of.

Too often banks charge high rates for small business accounts, lack functionality and behave like dinosaurs. Starling Bank is none of that, it is smart, functional and free.
