Santander esaver account, ideal for online banking

4
I already had a joint account with Santander and wanted to set up a savings account with them also for ease of transferring money online. I was saving for a house deposit so wanted to transfer a range of small and large amounts at a convenient time for myself. I was advised in branch by a helpful member of staff who recommended the esaver account, and they showed me which option to select online so I was able to go away and set this up online myself fairly quickly. There was no hurdles to jump through, no fiddly forms to sign. The whole process was straightforward and clear. Exactly what I wanted. There's also an option to turn off paper statements so everything is organised online via the account. I'd definitely recommend the esaver! Reviewed on: 12th September 2016

Supportive and reassuring every step of the way

Myself and my partner recently took out a mortgage with Nationwide and were really impressed with their service. We received the usual updates via post, and also email and text message. I felt supported every step of the way and was left in no doubt we had made a good decision to take out such an important financial product with them. They even sent us a lovely welcome package, which was waiting for us when we arrived in our new house! It was full of useful goodies and such a nice thought. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended! Reviewed on: 5th September 2016

Great customer service, meets all your banking needs

I've had a bank account with HSBC for over 15 years now, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other potential customers. Their customer service is very good, despite the dialect of some of the customer services reps being tricky to understand at times. But whenever I've had a query or concern, they've been quick to answer my questions and put my mind at ease. I've had experience with both their student and graduate accounts, I received a free 5 year railcard with the student account which was so useful during my studies. Recently I received a message from the bank regarding an online purchase that had aroused suspicion. Luckily I recognised the website as one I had attempted to purchase from and my payment hadn't gone through. Whilst phoning the bank to unblock your account would irritate some people, on the contrary I felt reassured that HSBC were on the alert for online fraud. It was quick and easy to sort out and hardly took any time. Keep up the great work HSBC! Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Prompt, reliable and keeps it's promises

I have purchased car insurance with Churchill for 2 years running. When it came to renewing I found a slightly cheaper quote online and phoned them up to cancel, but to my surprise they matched it! They were pleasant over the phone and very helpful in explaining the different terms of my policy. I had reason to claim on my insurance when my windscreen was chipped and I was pleased how easy it was to sort out with Churchill. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other customers shopping for car insurance in the future. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015
