I've wasted about 2 hours trying to open an account with Atom. I did the face recognition bit but then when I tried to enter my details it just chucked me out time after time. I must have tried 20 times. 2 calls to their 'customer service' number (Katie and Samantha) achieved nothing. I was going to deposit £75K for 5 years. Went to Ikano Bank instead - so easy - took less than 5 minutes' - wish I'd gone to them first - same interest rate. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH ATOM is my advice!
