I purchased Post Office home insurance through a price comparison site however I have continued the contract on a few years and renewal has always been super simple. Ive only had the need to ring them once which was when I moved and the service was excellent. Would recommend.

I changed my current account to Halifax on the recommendation of a family member and I must say I am very pleased indeed! I only have a basic account which means I am supposed to only use the automated services within the store however despite this I have always been welcomed at the counter by the staff and by the other staff in branch, if I have ever had a query they have dealt with it brilliantly.
