I have just received all the paperwork for my new car insurance with them and noticed that by mistake I ticked the box that says I am a homeowner (I wish but that will probably not happen any time soon).
I called Churchill to correct that detail and was told that I will now be charged £117 more, which is over 25% of what I have already paid! Such a discrimination for people that are not homeowners! It is despicable especially looking at the housing crisis these days! And I already get higher quotes for not being married! Outrageous!
