Poor value service

I had a claim where the outbound flight was cancelled because of snow. The insurance paid for the hotel for the 3 nights, but wouldn't pay for the cost of travel down and back to the airport, a distance of some 200 miles each way. They said that I wasn't entitled because the flight was only cancelled after I got to the airport and because I was down there already I would still have had to drive back. Suffice to say that I was not happy and they took £100 off the claim for administration! Reviewed on: 29th June 2019
