Frustrated

I bank with Barclays and another High Stret Bank, but my Barclays Branch transactions are incredibly frustrating. My debit card is chip and signature. Always has been. (Due to health reasons) But this isn't recorded on their system... or at least it wasn't until very recently. So trying to do any counter transaction is very traumatic. Although I go in fairly regularly, my face obviously isn't memorable! So we have to go through a huge identification process! Every single time, whilst huge queues build behind me. There have been instances where I have paid in a large amount of money and then asked to make a tiny payment (a fraction of the amount I have literally just paid in) and I'm put through the massive security check/identity process. The final straw was when they stopped sending my bank statements! I lost count of the number of times I asked the branch to start sending them again (each visit triggered the identity check!) They have started to come through again, after about 7 months of asking!Writing this has made me think I should move my account to the other high street bank, where I never have these problems!!
