Re-mortgage nightmare

A simple change of rate and term took months to organise. I was promised a refund as snail mail documents delayed the whole process, due to their computers going down. No refund received. My first direct debit amount was £200 over and above my agreed maximum monthly payments and I was not warned by the mortgage advisor. Obviously, they readjusted my future monthly payments, rather than refund me but still blew my budget without warning. No apology received throughout the whole process. Barclays need to work hard on their customer care. I certainly won't be recommending them or mortgaging with them ever again. Oh, and trying to make a complaint is just as tedious, as you'll be put on hold for half an hour to get through to the right department and still not get any answers or apology.
