Shady practices would avoid.
Shady practices, not a company to recommend. Will actively try to trip you up on the answers given on the comparison website, presumably to charge you the £50 amendment fee, insisted on the exact use of the vehicle, considering it is a van and insured as SD&P only, they will presume it's for commercial use and press you for more information, also to make a charge for an amendment, god forbid I might want take my van to the beach with my dog in the back to save the mess in my car or maybe go fishing. Mileage: I was told outright if I go over my 'estimated' mileage the insurance is null and void and that I should call to inform them, guess what, another charge for that. Had a threatening email informing me that my insurance was cancelled because I hadn't called them to confirm details, this is the shady method used to suck you in to making those mistakes that they can charge you for. Three times they hung up on me, they state the call will take a 'few minutes', it doesn't. An hour later it took me to get off the phone, with my bank balance still intact. Better luck next time.
