Their fraud department rejected a large but bona fide sum of money. No one at Nationwide had any idea where it was - the receiving bank eventually got it back once they knew it was missing. Customer service was appalling - they couldn’t have cared less.. I made a formal complaint and they then sent a blank copy of the complaints response letter.! I wrote to the CEO with no reply either. There has been a litany of issues with Nationwide over the last five years - very disappointing .
