Was good, getting poorer all the time....

I’ve been a customer for over 40 years, it grew from a very small banking group to rival the big boys. It took 15 years to get really good but has been in decline ever since especially since it was taken over by venture capitalists. The website for years was a model of clarity, excellent information at your fingertips, since the “update” several years ago it is impossible to see recent transactions that you have instigated until they clear after 2 or 3 days, other information that was just there is now hidden away, it’s all been simplified to the point of stupidity. Faster banking worked for a while but is now as slow as the days before it was instigated, presumably to save money/increase earnings. The telephone service while operated by good people is now restricted hours. Overall I’ve been so disappointed with the service provided I’m moving to Starling Bank - a breath of fresh air!
