Metro Bank do customer service and tech really well

24/7 phone lines with quick answering by real people; early and late opening stores and at weekends, cards printed same day, card readers set u - all of the stuff they do to make it convenient for the customer. The tech is really good with AI built in to help manage unexpected transactions or new payments. My favourite is when I’l waiting for a payment and the app lets me know when it’s arrived. Makes money much more manageable. But the biggest thing I find when I speak to Metro Bank colleagues, is the real care for people. Genuinely, everyone wants to do their best for each and every customer. They’re driven and motivated and it’s great to see they’re up there at the British Bank Awards. No wonder so many companies are switching their business accounts across. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2020
