Brilliant account!

Great communication, never has any issues, but when I've had to ring no long waits on the phone. The people who work in customer service are friendly and easy to speak to, not getting passed from one department to another. I regularly get text messages which are really easy to understand about overdrafts and offers. Reviewed on: 1st February 2023

We have had insurance with Aviva for years, we did switch to another provider for one year as they were more competitive, but the next year we went back purely as they were cheapest. We have had to claim with the other insurer and it wasn't very straight forward as we damaged the house and the car, both house and car were with the same insurer so you would think straigh forward- nope one arm couldn't talk to the other so this year we switched back as I have never had any problems, even when I have had to claim. There is always someone available to speak to me, no waiting forever on the phone and definitely not having to ring several different offices of the same comapny! Reviewed on: 7th July 2019

If you can cope with operating an account pretty much 100% online this is the account for you. I have always had great service, never had any issues and on the odd occasion I need to speak to someone they haven't kept me waiting on the phone. Reviewed on: 8th November 2018

I tried setting up a Junior ISA for my daughter online and it appeared to have worked, they sent me the paperwork and a date was set for the money to be paid in. However the date came and went so I rang them and they said they had issues with their payment system. They told me I would need to send a cheque, I have no cheque books so I asked if they could provide a bank account number and I could send the money over, no we can't do that. She did not sound very friendly and like I was wasting her time. A financial institution couldn't provide me with bank details? Anyway the rubbish customer service and the tone of her voice when I asked when their payments systems would be fixed (might be the other side of Christmas?!?!) made me doubt them as a secure place to put my daughters money so I cancelled the ISA a few days later over the phone, no questions asked about why and it sounded like the same lady I had spoken to previously.
