Very Handy

I took out a cash ISA to coincide with my savings account for planning wedding funds. It didnt offer the best interest rate for cash ISA's. However, it was really simple to open, had a start fee of £1 and was very handy in storing and saving the wedding funds. Reviewed on: 6th September 2016

Low interest

I recently got married and in the run up to the wedding i needed multiple savings accounts to keep on track of normal savings, wedding savings etc. Club lloyds offer a great monthly saver with a interest rate of 3% currently, was previously 4%. However, due to me having some of the cash in a lump sum upfront, this wasn't available to me. Instead the best rate was a 0.25% saver which was on the low side. Reviewed on: 6th September 2016

Renewed fixed rate

I have just came to the end of my previous fixed deal and have renewed on a new 2 year fixed deal with RBS. They offered the best deal for my LTV on the market. I have had no problems with RBS. The only problems i have had is even though they have an online portal you are limited to what you can complete online. I tried to change the date of my monthly payments but it required a phone call to confirm it. It seems that whatever you do online needs confirming manually by post or phone before it is applied. Excellent Features

Clearscore have added a timeline feature. This allows you to clearly see all your debts, payments and additions in a nice simple graph. This makes it simple to get a good look at my finances over a period of time. Reviewed on: 30th June 2016

Awful renewal price.

1
I have been with hastings direct for the last few years. Nothing had changed between my last insurance and the new renewal insurance other then my no claims had increased another year. The automatic renewal quote came back at nearly 50% extra which made no sense. More annoyingly when i compared prices on the comparison websites, hastings direct came back at nearly £230 cheaper then the renewal price. They obvious are hoping some of their customers fail to look elsewhere and get stung with a ridiculous high price. I have moved my car insurance elsewhere. Reviewed on: 22nd June 2016

Helpful Staff, Fast process and Decent rate.

I am coming towards the end of my 2 year fixed rate mortgage with RBS. I took out a 95% mortgage using the governments help to buy scheme. RBS were very efficient at moving the mortgage process along, we got a homebuyers report through RBS. The surveyors responded with some incorrect details but RBS was quick to get this corrected and move further along. The rate was decent for a 95% mortgage. Reviewed on: 15th June 2016

Clean, Easy to read and very informative

I signed up for clear score after trying Noddle and not being overly impressed. It was easy to sign up for and within minutes i was able to view the report. The signup process was slick and simple. All the data i expected to see was included, it was easy to read whether you wanted a quick summary or more in depth information. I was very happy with the level of data and insight i got. Would happily pay for this service so the fact its free is fantastic. Highly recommend. Reviewed on: 21st April 2016

Easy to Use but missing key data

3
I have recently signed up for this, it was difficult at first as they seemed quite strict in the question answers to find the report. I put 1 year for current address when it is really about 10 months. Once i was in, it was easy to see the data and navigate around the site. It had most of the key financial data in loans, mortgage and credit cards. However, it was missing some major credit i had on file. The largest being car finance that i have had for around a year. It also missed out my bank accounts, mobile phone contracts. With some of my major finance missed i was unsure how accurate the scoring and report was. Reviewed on: 21st April 2016

Excellent Service

I have been with Hastings for a couple of years and they have always been competitive in price for what they offer. Last year i had a car accident when someone went into the back of me. I rang Hastings and they were very helpful sorting my claim out. They offered a courtesy car for the duration of the repair (I didn't take this up as i had a spare car i could use already ) They were very fast in arranging the repair plus my legal fees and physiotherapy to recover from the accident. Would highly recommend. Reviewed on: 4th April 2016

Quick and Sleak

Signed up to see what all the hype was about, my card was expected to be delivered today, I received it on Saturday so delivery was fast and efficient. It was really simple to set up, all it took was entering the card details and the pin was text. The app is minimal and easy to use, i was shocked at how fast it picked up payments. I bought some drinks at the bar, the app had notified me of the charges before i even got back to my seats. Very Fast. It logs the retailer, the location of the transaction and correctly categorises the transaction. You can add notes and the receipt to the transaction so you can keep track of what was purchased. Simple user interface and concise instructions.

I have had my ratesetter loan for a few months. They are completely transparent with what you will pay back, providing a full breakdown of what the loan is made up of including any interest and chargers. They have a user login panel which makes it easy to keep track of the number of payments, balance remaining, aswell as a list of all payments required on the loan. It even lists what the payment is made up of (capital, interest, chargers) so you can see exactly how much your contributing towards the loan. It is simple to over pay the loan. I was a bit dubious at first as i only ever had a loan from a large bank with a branch but ratesetter make this simple and i have full trust in them. Reviewed on: 17th March 2016

I have just set up an account with Ratesetter and was able to get a competitive loan without any hassle. Ratesetter are very open with the charges and display how the loan is made up in an easy to understand graph. Would highly recommend. Reviewed on: 18th January 2016

Great Account

I have been with Lloyds for 9 years. This is an excellent added value account, it is very cheap and works out free if you meet the requirements. The Gourmet Society is excellent and provides loads of savings when eating out. Offers an amazing 4% ISA saving account. Lloyd's as a bank are also very pleasant, I regularly have yearly meetings, where rather then trying to sell me products, they try and save me money by changing loans, credit cards.
