After buying cover I found I had to buy a 2nd policy to cover medical conditons.
Then I had to contact them to get them to confirm the 2 policies were linked.
Then, when covid cancelled my trip I learned from A TV show that I could ask for a partial refund..
So I did, and they told me to email.. So I did.. And they forwarded it to their 3rd party claims company... Who told me to start again... So I did....
They told me I shouldn't have contacted the claims company!
They said I could get a 50% off da their admin fee.
Which came to £8...out of the £66 paid.....
When I questioned this.. Only then was I told the semper ate medical cover wasnt just a different department... It was a different company altogether.. One that they themselves have no contact with... And if I wanted to i could call their call centre (3rd party claims company number) to ask about a refund on that part of my policy.. But it had nothing to do with them.
Quite clearly a system put purposely in place to dissuade customers receiving a refund.. Or any meaningful customer service.
Careless and despicable.
I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I can only imagine the amount of people who decide not to bother claiming their own money back.
Shame on them.
