I have been with Nationwide for a few years and am so happy I chose them. If I've ever had a problem a quick phone call has sorted things out. The app is easy to use and I'm very happy Reviewed on: 1st February 2022

Had to ring on renewal as I had been ill and thought I had missed the renewal period. The call was answered quickly by a really helpful lady who assured me everything was fine, ran through it all to make sure there were no changes and renewed there and then. Nationwide have a fantastic option where they let you know by text when your account goes over or under a certain amount which you set yourself. There is also the option for getting text messages to tell you something is due to be paid and there is not enough money in your account so you have time to top up. I rarely ring them but when I do the call handlers are always polite and helpful. On the occasions I have sent a message they have always replied within the three working days they promise and usually sooner. I like my account. I cannot go overdrawn. I cannot be tempted by an overdraft. In fact the only gripe is charges which are my own fault any way and I don't know of a bank that doesn't charge! Even if I did I wouldn't want to move.
