There are no cons everything is a pro with By Miles. They are cost effective, efficient and friendly.
I've never made a claim but whenever I have got in touch my queries have been answered quickly and by knowledgable staff.
The app is super user friendly and it's easy to see how much you have spent that month. Especially in these times where you have to be a bit more conscious about the pounds!
I've been with By Miles for 3 years now - the longest I've ever stayed with an insurance provider. Every year I check quotes and every year By Miles comes out on top. I have saved hundreds by being with them. Most months I pay less than £20 (inclusive of the standard rate which I can now spread monthly) rather than the £70-80 plus I'm quoted by other companies. In fact this year, my cost per mile and standard rate both went down! The only bill to do so.

I chose By Miles after starting a remote job and so rarely use my car. It was so much cheaper than other quotes I received and in the two years I've used them I haven't had any issues at all.
Easy to use app, quick and friendly customer services, a lot cheaper, for me, than other companies.

the app is so easy to use and very intuitive. The customer service is second to none. So much easier to keep track of my spending, especially with the pots function and salary sorter

My car insurance was still so high after a bump during the Beast from the East. On top of that it went up dramatically every year. I work remotely on a permanent basis and so I wasn't really using my car that much and begrudged how much I was paying.
A friend recommended By Miles and instead of forking out nearly £100 a month, it's now less than £5 most months.
I've spoken to them on numerous occasions and their Customer Service is spot on. I changed my car not long after the policy started and it was so easy to do! No faffing or extortionate admin charges like with other insurers.
Highly recommend to anyone who doesn't do regular high miles (although saying that, even if I was to 10,000 miles a year it would still be cheaper than the cheapest alternative!)
