I applied for a personal loan through this bank, as I am a current account holder, never been in my overdraft, never been below a certain amount in my account. I needed to build credit history so sought a loan rather than a credit card. However, I was so disappointed at the APR being as high or maybe higher than that of a credit card. I opted for a different provider with excellent rates and customer service. Clearly this bank doesn't value their long term customers. Would NOT recommend!

I have to say I researched a few loan providers before opting for Zopa. Luckily my reasons for lending were just to build credit history as I have been fortunate not to have borrowed money in the past. In comparison I for Zopa's process less judgemental than others, they only asked necessary questions and checked relevant information, whereas some other providers delved a little deeper into personal situations, some stuff which I didn't feel needed to declaring to the circumstances. I also have to say the had by far the cheapest APR repayment compared to every single loan provider I checked. No hassle, no complaints and for someone in a hurry, very good as the money cleared within 24hours. A definite recommend to someone who is looking for a great loan provider without any concerns.
