Fair finance are a very helpful giving loans to people with a less than perfect credit history and don't just look at your credit history but take into account your income and how much you can afford to pay back each month and if you ever struggle to pay one month they do their best to help accommodate you to come up with something that suits you until your back on your feet and they don't charge extra interest when you need extra time

I recently opened an account with halifax and when I received the cards the letter was addressed to Mrs khan but when I opened it it said Dear Mr Khan and my card had Mr Khan on it when I called I was told the account was in Mr when I clearly opened it in Mrs and I was told to go to the branch to change it although it was their fault I called earlier today and was told to call back between 7-11 am to speak to the relevant team who would sort it instead I spoke to a very bad customer service lady who didn't even care and when I told her I wanted to close the account she just said wait while I put you on hold and just closed it she didn't even try to talk me out of it like the other lady did it was like she didn't care about the bank or their customers update: I waited ages for halifax to respond to my complaint and after many calls I received a letter saying they had looked at my complaint and gave me £30 compensation which I think is an insult considering the inconveniences they have caused me and I definitely won't be banking with them ever again
