Excellent benefits, great service, in particular the travel insurance feature. It covers my whole family everywhere. So many benefits attached to this card the fee is well worth it especially if you are a frequent business traveller. Reviewed on: 20th April 2018

Barclays customer service through their app is great! Whether I am accessing account info or connecting to a customer services rep on the phone through the app. I recently lost my debit card, Barclays printed me a replacement in store on the same day, massively helpful. Just joined this today after reading good things about them on this review site. Really easy to sign up and tells me everything I needed to know. Clear and easy to read and accessing information is also made easy. Hopefully in time they will expand out their range of offers and these offers can be more personalised as I'm in not need and have no interest of/ for a credit card or loan. Didn't Invest - Got Fed up with too many emails

I joined Funding Circle as I was looking for alternative investments. The site is good, the deals are ok, but the email traffic you get from them is too much. In the end I unsubscribed and opened an ISA for my wife as they are easier to understand. When it's a new form of investing overkill on emails sets alarm bells off - 'these guys seem to desperate for my cash'. Reviewed on: 16th March 2016

Great Account for a Small Business with Basic Needs

The Barclays Basic Business Account is really useful, I have no need to access capital or make complex payments so I do everything online , mainly via my mobile! Which is great. I can, even with this basic account, make and receive international payments. Reviewed on: 11th February 2016

Decent service unless you need the personal touch!

The Barclays Business Banking Provision for Small Companies is okay on a day-to-day level. Their online facilities and SmartPhone APP are excellent, but if I need to contact my personal relationship manager it's terrible. I have his direct email, but he takes a long-time to answer and is not interested in helping beyond the standard requests I could satisfy myself via the online service. If you are looking for a simple product that's largely managed online this is a good account for you. If you want a more personal, human touch look elsewhere. Reviewed on: 12th January 2016

I needed to add my Business Accounts to my Barclays Mobile Banking APP. Great service, the changes were all made in under five minutes. No long periods on hold! Great! Perhaps, some of the telephone business banking staff should be transferred to the premier banking telephone team - when I phoned them about a similar issue they were poor! Poor customer care

I have just changed mobile phones. The banking app would not allow me to re-register. I called the helpline. I was quite clear that I wanted to reactivate an existing registration as I was not in a position to create a new registration Guess what my registration was deleted and I have to make a new one but I can't as I don't have their card reader with me Well done Barclays well done ! Balance Transfer Offer

JL Partnership Card sent me a letter offering me 0% interest on balance transfers to the card until December 2016. Nice offer, but not wanted! Again! I don't know what it is with JL, but this year I've had 2-3 unsolicited offers aimed at getting me to increase my limit or transfer balances - I don't want or need them! Why encourage more debt JL, does the penguin need an new igloo! Reviewed on: 2nd September 2015

Free car hire added to my policy - yes!

I received a letter the other day from Direct Line informing me that free car hire in the event of my car being in the garage was now available to me at no extra cost ! This is great news. Reviewed on: 2nd September 2015

Being on hold too long

I called Barclays while in the USA as my card was blocked from using ATM's. The problem is I was on hold for 8 minutes - on the premier line - the normal line I was on hold for 3 minutes? Reviewed on: 12th May 2015

Poor rewards for no claims

9 years no claims, why am I getting a premium increase? I've no points and have never claimed yet the price of the quote for my renewal has increased from last year. I'm going to leave these guys. Reviewed on: 9th February 2015

Very customer centric and responsive

I recently received a letter telling me that my credit amount on this card had been increased, but if I didn't want the increase just to ring them and they would leave it as it was. I didn't want the increase, they kept it where I wanted it with one phone call and I didn't get charged for the call. They responded quickly - this made me happy Reviewed on: 9th February 2015
