I have banked with HSBC for 35 years and First Direct for over 20. I liked the telephone banking service and the branding and the innovation of the business as the time. There is a push now towards digital banking and away from calling and I feel a bit side lined. However whenever I do speak to a customer service person the service is always good. I think the online banking space is a worry for many people from a security perspective. I do find my Starling business bank account on mobile to be easier to navigate than FD.

I haven't conducted many transactions yet but I found the process from sign up to card delivery (in lovely embossed paper wallet!) to the interface design and ease of navigation all to be exemplary.
