Basic bank account is good and online banking is simple and easy to use. No fee for account, no interest...I have no experience of overdraft so no idea about this side of the account. Lots of branches with, in my experience, helpful staff and plenty of ATMs.

Stayed with Churchill Car Insurance for about 5 years. No problems whatsoever with cover or customer service, but that said I never had any cause to deal with their claims dept. Each year the renewal quotes increased and I'd phone up and they'd reduce it slightly...there was no discount for loyalty and the quotes for new customers were WAY below what they'd quote me as an existing customer. Eventually left, I told them why and they made no attempt to match their new customer quote. If you've money to throw away then a good company to go with, if you're on a budget look elsewhere.
