I have been a customer since the mid 80s. Although in recent years I have mainly managed my accounts through the App which I find very good and easy enough to navigate. When I have had to visit a branch, I found it a bright environment friendly staff. However some years ago I applied for a personal loan and I was turned down because I had not been in my new address for more than 6 months, although I had the account with them for 14 years at the address I moved from! I found that the
' Personal' loan was not that personal at all, as the computer just said NO! In all the time I have held the account I have never been in the red, quite the opposite! Needless to say, I would never apply for a loan or other products they offer. It's just convenient.
