Contacted Halifax the morning after I had had an accident and wrote off my car. Very helpful and understanding. I was passed over to the underwriters, Ageas, and after a few hiccups (namely the permission for my husband to deal with the claim). After discussion and sending photos over of the car a settlement was agreed and the money was in my bank the following day (72 hours after my accident)
