Lloyds have cleaned up their act and become a UK focused bank. They even recently admitted to a mistake ad made sure customers affected had their money returned. With Brexit around the corner, I vote for the biggest UK based and focused bank for the award. Lloyds Bank is my choice.

I set up my policy after using comparison sites to compare the amounts each policy would cover up to. Legal and General were always near the top of all the sites I used in terms of cover cost, however as some of the others I hadn't heard of before, it was an easy choice to pick them for my life insurance.
A helpful agent called me the day after and proceeded through the questions and even explained about beneficiaries that was not mentioned on the websites. I finalized the manageable monthly cost and now have complete piece of mind. My tip for anyone interested in life insurance is do it sooner so that the amount you pay will decrease as you age. I couldn't fault them one bit.
