We have a mortgage with the Halifax which we've had for more than 7 years on a fixed rate without any problems. We have decided to move house and needed an agreement in principle which we completed online. We made an error in completing the form, so rang in and spoke to Bradley Clarke, a mortgage consultant, who immediately sorted out the issue and emailed over the agreement in principle then and there. He was polite, friendly and very reassuring. It reminded us why we stay with the Halifax for our mortgage. Thank you for your help tonight - much appreciated.
