To be honest, at first I was unsure as the automated portfolio switches seemed to crystallise losses which I would otherwise have sat through passively. A recent webinar however outlined the merits of InvestEngine's approach and showed the fund was performing better than I had thought, or at least 2023 clawed back earlier losses.

With hire car companies hiking their excess levels so much, I felt it worth having the reassurance of a separate car hire excess policy, something I never used to bother with. Eversure came up with a competitive quote for annual cover that was better value than two separate 10 day policies for trips I am planning.

With car insurance costs rising, I shopped around and Flow came up with the most competitive premium on like for like cover. All online and cannot comment on claims process as not needed to yet.

Faced with a huge hike on my car insurance renewal I tried Policy Expert and they were much more competitive, so went with their policy. No claims experience so far.
