Claim for lost necklace

I had a diamond necklace worth £900 which had come off when cutting the grass,all I could find was a couple of strands of the fine gold chain.Contacted Zurich,I had to go back to the jewellers that I had bought it and get a valuation,they then paid out.It was a bit inconvenient as it was a 100 round trip and I had a receipt which they said wasn't adequate.Considering I'd had insurance with them for over ten years and had never made a claim I felt I had to prove to them that I wasn't making a fake claim.As it had been a present from my late husband I was obviously upset and they certainly didn't help. Excellent customer service by phone with knowledgeable and polite staff.Their web site is so easy to use and have never had a problem.This really is one bank I'd recommend to friends and family

I changed bank after having banked with RBS for 35 years,I became more and more frustrated by fewer staff and continual harassment trying to force products and services on me.After careful research I chose Tesco Bank and it's honestly the best thing I have ever done Reviewed on: 1st June 2016
