They got everything wrong during a house move , v poor service

Tesco cancelled my insurance with 3 days notice, over a weekend, because they incorrectly believed the house had been empty for 6months They had inputted a date on their computer incorrectly as It was actually only 5months and I had the paperwork to prove it. The house sale was completing in 2 weeks and I was forced to re-insure with another insurer just to cover the last 2 weeks of ownership , on a Saturday when most brokers were closed . All v stressful. I got my apology from them for their mistake in the end but only after they dug out transcripts of my telephone call. Ludicrously poor service to the extreme and such stubbornness or to accept their own error Reviewed on: 30th September 2017
