My local branch has closed and I'm told my nearest one is now bus ride away. Being elderly with limited mobility this is a problem for me. But Santander don't give a toss! Time to move banks methinks.

Had a letter saying that my local branch in Wanstead was closing and that my nearest branch would now be in Leytonstone, a bus ride away. I was also informed that my new branch manager was a Mr Patel, no surprise there... As a pensioner with limited mobility it is disgraceful that I am now expected to travel much further, to a somewhat questionable area that is rife with criminal activity and muggings, particularly on the elderly. I will certainly not be visiting Mr Patel any time soon.
