Customer service issues, but a brilliant complaints department

I had serious issues switching to the Clydesdale bank. A small problem with my current account switch became a major headache due to hour-long holds on the phone, calls being dropped and being given numbers with long wait-times to call the switching team back on.
I made a formal complaint and was dealt with personally and professionally. My experience with the complaints department led me to choose to continue my switch to the Clydesdale Bank in spite of a poor experience earlier. If only all their departments could work this way!
