The key consideration from a finance product is that it works and does not need me to phone up anyone. This product fits my requirements. I don't have many situations where I have needed to call.
The user experience could be better as its just cluttered with irrelevant options, but its much much better than other bank apps which are absolute rubbish.

One of the key things I expect as a tech savvy user is to be able to use their services on any device with minimum clicks and maximum features. HSBC have never given me a reason to complain yet. They are like the heart of a system, if it operates very well, we don't notice the heart, but even one problem and it becomes critical. Can I also add that I love that there is an option in the website to bypass the token thing. I know that's perceived as less secure, but anytime there is a transfer to an unknown payee or any change to personal details, it immediately asks for token security. This is so much better than banks who put layers of security to the point the website/app becomes unusable. Thanks HSBC, you make my life easier.
