First things first - HSBC has generally higher fees for unusual transactions via credit card. I paid quite a lot for ATM withdrawal (admitting it is not the way you should be using your credit card). However, their support is great. I contacted their customer care twice and it was amazing experience every time. Problems solved and explained - a great example for other banks.

Barclays savings account has fulfilled my expectations so far. Online access and e-banking interface are satisfying, I have never encountered any flaw. My day-to-day operations are simple and well executed.
