Useless from start to finish

Useless from start to finish. i have relocated to Singapore, i have told Santander this on numerous occasions. i have told them i will be transferring a large sum of money from my UK account to a HSBC account in Singapore. They are fully aware. so when i transferred a test amount through, my account is now locked out and i have to wait 6 more hours for a UK call center to open. no 24 hour support. totally shocking in this day and age. Pathetic banking company who need the Elon Musk treatment! Reviewed on: 17th November 2022

Stay Well Clear of Santander

The worst bank and customer service on the planet! I have had a lock placed on my account and the reason they gave me was that i have used contactless payment too much. Now considering i have spent the last 3 weeks in Singapore and never use the card as i dont want to pay their extortionate rates. I transfer from the bank to Wise. Now they have blocked it and tell me i have to buy something in Singapore and put my pin number in to release the block. Its the only way i can unblock it! Santander are a joke and i shall be closing the account down because of this. Complete failures! still waiting on the line for the fraud team to unblock this bar and been waiting over an hour so far. i am stuck in Singapore without access to my money. Avoid this company for your business

Stay clear from HSBC business banking. Their security practises are flawed. I went to report a fraudulant transaction, they couldnt tell me what the transaction was and had to pass me to another team. I had allready passed telephone security at this point. During the transfer i had an automated response asking me to put in my security code??? Which i did, unsuccessfuly. My account is now locked and the team i was passed onto, say they are unable to help with this Fraud case i raised until my account is unlocked by customer services, which wont be until monday!!!! Lets hope there are not any more transactions coming in over the weekend! HSBC are a complete joke. Stay well clear. Reviewed on: 9th July 2022
