I have visited my local branch 5 times in the last year. Very helpful, friendly staff.
They have an excellent app for my tablet which I use to login using my fingerprint. Quick and easy. I can pay in cheques using the app. I have banked with the Halifax for over 20 years.

I HAVE BANKED WITH THE HALIFAX FOR OVER 30 YEARS WITH NO PROBLEMS. THE STAFF AT THE BRANCH I GO TO ARE SO PATIENT, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE HALIFAX APP ON MY APPLE TABLET IS REALLY GOOD AND I CAN PAY IN CHEQUES USING THE APP WHICH SAVES ME THE BOTHER OF GOING TO A BRANCH. THE WEBSITE IS EASY TO LOG ON AND NAVIGATE.

Even though I have not made a claim yet my my father had home insurance with the Post Office. My father was unfortunate enough to have a power surge and his electronic garage doors, television and fridge were affected. The Post Office settled the claim with ease.

I have banked with first Direct for over 15 years. I would recommend this bank because of the excellent customer service and the security system which is used when logging in to my online accounts.
