Cheap because their repair service is horrendous - steer clear of these shysters

I was a happy customer with LV for years until I needed to claim when my car was hit by another driver. A small accident and the fault of the other driver. I was initially told it would take 2 days of work to repair. Sadly LV use a failing repair service called Artis. It is now more than 3 months after the accident and I still don’t have the repair done. They have had the car for over 5 weeks of that time, I have had countless conversations, every excuse under the sun (lack of staff, repairs went wrong, no parts ordered, wrong parts ordered, holidays, can’t find the wheel locking nut (on a very common car - no one thought to check the manual in the glove compartment!), accident outside workshop, ….). You could not make it up. My estimated completion date has now moved 9 times! Promised again for Monday but I’ll believe it if I (ever) see it. LV turned out to be a very expensive choice of insurer given all the cost incurred by not having a car for so long! Avoid!!!! Reviewed on: 23rd September 2022
