Best Business Bank Account - and FREE!

5
Whilst most banks levy a number of charges for operating a business bank account, Starling offer a service with no monthly fees! A new account can be opened in a matter of minutes via the modern mobile app. With a similar feature set to the personal account, you get a Mastercard debit card, mobile access, instant spending notifications, card freezing ability, spending analytics, fee-free foreign spending/cash withdrawals and access to a number of complimentary services through the Starling Marketplace. This includes accounting, insurance, legal and loyalty products. One feature the business account has that isn't (yet) available to personal customers is access via a brand new web portal. This is a very slick web-based interface and is a very handy addition. Fast, friendly customer support is available 24/7 via the in-app chat and messaging services, or you can call to speak to someone. I have a personal account, joint account, Euro account and business account with Starling. I do all of my banking with them and recommend their products to all of my family, friends and colleagues. Still the best current account!

I've been with Starling Bank since November 2017. In that time I've moved all my banking to them and they've continually improved the services on offer. They still provide unlimited free cash withdrawals abroad, unlike most other banks that have an upper limit on how much you can withdraw, along with fee-free spending in any currency. They have introduced free cash deposits at any Post Office. You can round up your transactions and save the pennies in a "Goal" - a great way of saving without even realising you're doing it! There are really useful spending insights by category and merchant. You get advance notification of Direct Debits leaving your account and incoming BACS credits. Payee management is very easy - you can set up one contact then attach multiple bank accounts to them. All of this with no hidden fees, very fair overdraft rates and great customer service. I recommend Starling Bank to all my friends and family and am really looking forward to see what innovations they introduce to the app next! Reviewed on: 6th November 2019

Superb business account provider

I opened a business account with Starling after being extremely impressed with their personal current account. You get an eye-catching vertical debit card, modern app, none of the fees that the high street banks charge business account holders, instant notifications, spending insights, CSV export and integration with certain accounting software (e.g. Xero), cash deposits at any Post Office and extremely quick account setup (1-2 minutes). I would urge anyone looking for a business bank account to give Starling a try - you won't be disappointed! Reviewed on: 15th January 2019

Best bank by far!

I switched all my banking to Starling Bank in May 2018 and am delighted I did! The list of features and benefits is long and includes: eye-catching vertical MasterCard debit card, instant notifications, spending insights, great payee management including photos/logos, free cash deposits at any Post Office, savings Goals where you can ringfence funds away from your main balance, automated roundups of transactions into a savings Goal, card controls that let you lock your card if you misplace it (and unlock it if and when it turns up), a fair overdraft that takes into account money reserved in Goals, interest on credit balances, fee-free foreign spending and ATM withdrawals, advance notification of incoming credits and outgoing Direct Debits, the ability to block gambling transactions, foreign currency transfers at great rates, extremely quick account setup (2-3 minutes) and a very well designed app. I've recommended Starling Bank to a number of friends and family members and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a modern, app-based current account.
