I've had my policy for years and it's refreshing that they don't significantly increase the premium each year. Covers me for a range of activities as standard.

Clear and intuitive app and when you need to speak to somebody you get straight through with no automated messages or waiting in line. Professional and friendly call centre staff.

I've been with Columbus Direct for years and my annual policy is cheaper than I can find elsewhere and includes lots of activities as standard. They don't try to increase my premium significantly each year either - sometimes it is actually cheaper. The free airport lounge if there's a flight delay is also great.

Real people answering the phone after a couple of rings and holding intelligent conversation with you rather than reading from a script. A world apart from previous banking experiences. I had one issue with money going missing during an ISA transfer which they dealt with quickly and even phoned back to double check it was resolved.
