I switched to the flex direct account with nationwide when i needed my own bank account after I split up with my wife last year. I've been using it everyday ever since. Its easy to use. i got a debit card which can be used as a debit card or used on contactless devices. its been very handy. i was also given the option to have a chequebook but i declined as money is tight. some other banks i've been with give you a chequebook whether you want it or not. I use the online banking service to manage my day to day transactions and transfers which i previously had no experience with as my wife did it all. But I've found it quite simple to use. All in all its a good account with decent services attached to it. I'm sure I will be using it for many years to come.
