I live in centre city and very rarely use my car, maybe 4 or 5 times a month. So this idea is great. Even if you did drive frequently it's very cost effective insurance.

Took out insurance in January told them that there was a strong possibility I would take my car from my parents house in Norwich to my place of study in Oxford around April, they said this would be fine. Paid for insurance Later in April I rang up to say I was taking it to Oxford. This is when the man on the phone put me on hold, came back and said my insurance policy has now been cancelled as they are somehow unable to provide insurance for me in Oxford. No refund, no better offer. Just a cancellation letter. Absolute scam of a company, pay the extra money and go with a known company!
