I opened an easy access account with Raisin, it was not that easy to withdraw money, it took longer to get the withdrawal completed. I decided to close the account in the end because for me, easy access means that withdrawal should reach my nominated account by the next day at the latest. This was not the case with Raisin.

I was attracted by the competitive interest but it's open banking which I didn't know. The T&Cs simply impossible to read on the mobile if you are a bit older person. Open banking not for everyone and should be clearly spelt out when someone opens the app to apply for an account. To cancel the application was not that easy either, had to go back and forth with emails to get it cancelled.

It was easy to open the saving account on line. However, interest was slow to change when the base rate was increased. When needed to close account, can't do with transfer of balance to nominated account must wait for a cheque. Not at all convenient and it's not great if you need money quickly. You can transfer out to nominate account electronically but must leave at least £500 in the account then close it and wait for a cheque. These days, one still have to do this is not exactly great.
