I do not understand the point of this company

Updraft continue to decline me even though the loan was to pay off my other high interest loan which would put me in a far better financial position. I thought the whole point of companies like this is to help you reduce monthly outgoings and putting people in far better financial positions? That’s not possible if you keep declining me. Worst company I have ever had to deal with

This company is just awful and I mean awful. Firstly, they do not look at your application and affordability correctly they add false figures to the affordability which then means you will get declined, I can only think they do this as they can’t lend to everyone but why do they fraudulently add false figures instead of being honest? Secondly, they are rude, unhelpful and take an age to decide on your application, I’ve known people wait a week and still not had an answer. And lastly they act in a way that goes against the FCA and ICO guidelines in that they don’t look after your data correctly especially falsifying data and not having an appeal process? Every loan company as far as I am aware should have an appeal/complaints process but this company said it don’t when I asked for it to be appealed! Shocking! Reviewed on: 30th March 2023
